‘Leading your life in the midst of chaos’

Sometimes the world can be overwhelming, chaotic, senseless. How do we make life work in a positive, constructive way when the world around us doesn’t make sense at all? And what is exactly our role in it? Do we have a ‘destiny’ or mission? If yes, what is it?

Many questions to be asked. Within the concept of Open Space – meaning we will create the program together on the spot – we will explore what it means to live in these weird, changing, but interesting times. We will touch upon questions like: Who am I? What’s my purpose in life? How do I cope with relationships, money, work and love? What does it mean to be masculine or feminine, or both? How do I fit in with others and with the world around me? How can I express my feelings in a safe way? How can I use my intuition? Basic questions that contribute to the handbook ‘how to live on earth and still enjoy the ride’.

This 4 day retreat will be held in the middle of Tomar, the old Portuguese capital of the Templars. We would particularly like to invite ‘Young Templars’, participants between 18 and 40, young people who are ready to take the lead, both of their own lives, in their relationships, as well as in the world around them. If you feel called you are very welcome to join.

WHERE: Hotel Uniao, in the heart of the town, at the foot of the old Templar castle

Starting 17/4 with dinner at 6 pm (18:00)
Ending 21/4 at 1 pm (13:00), after the closing circle
WHO: Facilitators are Ton van der Kroon & Anne Wislez
HOW: We are working with the principles of Open Space.

COSTS:  € 840 (including accommodation in hotel Uniao, sharing a two person bedroom, breakfast and dinner, excluding excursions, drinks and lunch).

PARTICIPATION
You can only participate for the whole event. All retreats start at 6 pm (18:00) with dinner and the opening ceremony on the first night, and end at 1 pm (13:00) on the last day with a closing ceremony right before lunch time.

HOW TO BOOK
Please send us a mail before booking – to anne.wislez@telenet.be –   with a few words why you want to participate, and what your expectations are. When we feel a mutual agreement, you can book your flight and  finalize your subscription.  Your subscription is definitive by paying the full amount of the retreat to bank account: IBAN: NL90 INGB 0008216143, BICcode: INGBNL2A, Tree of Life, Laurierstraat 122, 1016 PR, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Please mention the name of the retreat. Also let us know with whom you would like to share a room.
NB. In case of cancellation, there is a fee of € 200 one month before the start of the event. After that the whole amount has to be paid.  Possible hotel cancellations should be checked with the hotel itself. Your registration to the retreat will only be confirmed once the payment is received.

HOW TO GET IN TOMAR: The hotel can be easily reached by plane to Lisbon and a direct 2 hour train drive to Tomar. You can walk from the trainstation to the hotel in 10-15 minutes.
